Mermay 2020 l Art Trade

Another art trade that we actually got to start and color it around 2019 but didn't end up doing a final version. So might as well finish it up for this year's mermay 2020. Another art trade wherein another artist does the sketch/concept then the other do the colors.

This time around its a mermay concept of getting to fuse with larvacean bathocardaeus that free swimming and clear tunicates or gelatinous zooplankton that as they float through to the depths of the ocean that sometimes appear as if their gelatinous body is somewhat dancing to the currents similar to that of the jellyfish and I find it quite mesmerizing. And add all of that to a concept of mermaid creature with this concept is amazing as I would feel like their solitary existence is a peaceful one as they dance along the currents.
